U.S. Department of State sent this message to me. SCAM OR REAL?

results of successful applicant will only be made available from July, 2011 on their website. beware!!!

Its so clear that it's a scam. Open your eyes and see! US governemnt will not ask u to pay money to anyone in UK and US government email address is not @gov.com. Open ur eyes. Too many reasons why its a scam but these two are the most glaring.

Got the same message, they are big time SCAMMERS. :o

I got a similar message dated 16th Jan. 2011 stating 28th of the same month as the deadline for payment. However, I did not come across the message not until 4th of this february, so I did not respond. I thank ALLAH for that. I must tell you sincerely that I am more than convinced that my earlier suspicion of a dirty game as been authenticated by this honourable forum. In the content of my own mail in this respect, the payment was $440. The desperacy level for the payment was too high, and of course prompt my suspicion of a scam.
