Job Title:

Ticketing & Reservations Agent

Purpose Statement:

Ensuring all targets are met and standards are kept through hard work, diligence and team work with other Ticketing Agents according to IATA regulations and DAL policies


Key Accountabilities:

Assist passengers with fare Quotes, reservations, revalidations, rebooking and upgrades
Ensure all tickets are issued correctly and according to IATA regulations
Reconciling cash uplift with ticket sales
Block group seats for series and ad hoc group as at when required
Issuing excess baggage receipts for excess luggage payments and MPD’s for no shows, date change
Providing a frontline point of presence for passenger enquiries in a friendly manner


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
This position requires a graduate with a Degree/HND or any related discipline relevant to aviation
A good knowledge of and/ or previous experience in the aviation industry will be an added advantage
Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills with a pleasant personality
Ability to work well on own initiative and adapt to changing work demands
Professional Expertise – intermediate Excel, Word and PowerPoint will be an added advantage
