Senior Financial Analyst – TEMPORARY POSITION (Female)

A young consulting firm in VI, Lagos seeks an experienced and self-motivated female Senior Financial Analyst for a temporary position for up to 6 months (could become permanent)

Skills/Qualifications
• excellent BSc in Accounting or Economics or Finance and/or ICAN qualification with over 2 years post-graduation experience
• ability to independently carry out feasibility studies on investment or financing ideas with detailed cash flow, break-even, profitability and sensitivity analysis
• sound knowledge of credit analysis, credit risk modelling and risk management techniques
• ability to analyze project finance and investment proposals via cash flow modelling and yield/IRR analysis, structure credits, prepare and present credit memos for approval
• ability to critically analyze companies’ financial performance, operations and control framework and identify improvement opportunities to minimize risk and improve shareholders’ value
• PC proficiency including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; knowledge of other financial modelling or statistical applications a plus
• Self starter, who can naturally function in most environments with minimal supervision
