Reports to head of Investment
Supervises Research Assistants

Job Summary/Objective
Gather and analyze research data, top level strategizing, planning and forecasting. Helps in allocating resources, measure performance from large data base for investment purposes.

Job Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing assessment of fundamental trends, individual corporations and entire industries to advise asset analysts, head of investments, Chief investment officer and the investment committee every quarter.

Produce periodic investment write-up/commentaries on asset portfolios every quarter

Financial market Understanding
Market Commentary
Number/Volume of sectorial report
Number/richness of report to customers/analysts
Speed of dispatch of research

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Academic & Professional: A first degree in mathematics, statistics, economics & other related numerate fields; A master’s degreein any other relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 3-5 years post youth service work experience
