Dear Nurudeen,
We write to inform you that unfortunately we will not be pursuing your application
to the Renaissance Capital Graduate Programme. Unfortunately you did not meet the
minimum scores required in our online numerical and verbal reasoning test and due to
the number of places on the Programme, we are only able to select students who
scored highest in both tests.
We would like to wish you luck in your future career search and would like to thank
you for your interest in our Programme.
Kind regards,
The Renaissance Capital Recruitment Team
I'm happy for you brother. GO FOR IT. Best of Luck
babestell, congrats again O..Keep the naijahotjobs flag flying.
Now, to your accent, pleaseyou have to polish it! I am not saying you should sound like Oyinbos, but youneed to talk in a way that oyinbos will understand you..I lived in SA for sometime, and I can confidently tell you that they find our accent very difficultto comprehend. You should start practising some of the words that you are goingto use on that day. Any word that you do not know how to properly pronounce, please learn the pronunciation. Also, begin to recite tongue twisters to helploosen your tongue a little..Google tongue twisters and start reciting themnow..No bite your tongue O...
Another thing you have todo to improve your fluency is to lock yourself in a private room and speakaloud to yourself. In addition, take a newspaper and try reading aloud. Useyour phone to record your voice. Play it to see if you mispronounced any word.Repeat the process until you are comfortable with the outcome.
Try to sound asprofessional as you can. Enunciate your words properly and work on articulatingyour thoughts flawlessly. Don't try to sound fake O...Just use your naturalaccent, but make it very clear. With the Internet, you can achieve all of theabove. I will dig up some more information from my armory and send to you.
I see victory begging youto accept it. I see success trying to suck up to you. I see failure distancing itselffrom you.
Good luck Ms/Miss/Mrs/Mrbabestell!
Please note that you may beasked to retake the test. So, be very, very prepared, okay. Now, the next stageis not just an interview, it is an assessment centre. This website will helpyou prepare http://www.assessmentday.co.uk/assessmentcentre.htm. Also see http://www.glassdoor.com/Interview/Renaissance-Capital-Interview-Questions-E116512.htm
