Account and Finance Associate (Lovery Consulting)

Lovery consulting, a new age consulting firm, committed to transforming SMEs into Global Standard Firms, creating enormous impact in the emerging market economy and building her workforce to being the best and most fulfilled in their careers is in search of a young, intelligent, analytical accounting graduate with a strong management capability to manage all administrative, accounting, commercial and tax matters for Lovery and her portfolio businesses.

Candidate must have
Strong understanding of International Financing Report Standard (IFRS)
Strong experience in income statement analysis.
Ability to develop and establish financial policies and procedures

Ability to work independently, without supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively direct and supervise.

Knowledge of operating and capital budget concepts.

Ability to analyze financial data and to prepare accurate reports in a timely fashion.

Knowledge of personnel policies and procedures.

Knowledge and ability in the use of a personal computer and software applications (e.g. Microsoft
Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.).
Ability to effectively use a modern automated financial management/ accounting software
Savvy with Tax issues and how to help organization manage Tax Must be an Account graduate with a chattered designation or enrolled

Job Responsibilities will include:
Reviews general ledger on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy of posting.

Manage all financial functions of Lovery Portfolio Businesses’ (including, but not limited to, cash reconciliations, account statement reconciliations, check runs, accounts receivable transactions, fixed asset activity, payroll, accounts payable transactions, debt activity, recording of revenue and expenses, etc.).

Cash management (including placement/movement of funds in various Portfolios).

Resolves complex accounting issues or assists other personnel portfolio Businesses in resolving financial issues.

Initiate and guide the preparation of forecasts of company revenue, working capital, expenditure and return on investment

Representing Lovery at project implementation meetings
To ensure Tax, PF and other regulatory and statutory compliances are met with.
Produces monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements and ad hoc financial reports.

Makes and implements recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures.
