We are currently seeking an Operations Business Support Analyst for our client to provide front line, world class, financial and analytical support to the critical operational areas of Africa's fastest growing carrier.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide day to day finance and internal controls support to the Engineering and Flight Operations departments
To own, prepare and manage the annual budget submission for his/her responsible area(s). In addition, to preparing monthly financial forecast as per the month end reporting timetables.
To prepare monthly financial and non-financial reports as per line and ventral finance requirements expenditure.
Critically appraise Request for Procurement and external spend requests; prepare capex and non capex business cases and relevant analysis as and when required
Manage and develop the Operations Business Support team; set KPIs and performance manage delivery when relevant
Manage external and internal suppliers and contractors within key costs and performance benchmarks
Collate, assess and manage warranty claims for equipment and services
To install financial control within this critical area of the business
Undertake adhoc analysis and projects as and when required by the business
Under the guidance of Central Finance, establish processes and procedures to capture accurate asset and inventory data and valuations on the Corporate Balance Sheet
To act as key interface between the Operations area of the business and Internal Controls department
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

No age requirements
Proven Analytical Ability
Team oriented skills
Good I.T reporting skills
Sound knowledge of the financial/commercial system.(ERP)
Technical background or interest in Engineering and Flight Operations would be advantageous
Qualification / Experience

1st degree in relevant discipline
Possession of Financial / Analytical Professional Qualification an advantage
Previous 1-3 years post-graduation experience
Commercial Aviation experience, although not critical, is preferred
