Position: Account Clerk

Qualification: OND Accounting.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting the accounts department in preparing appropriate books of accounts.
• Provide support in managing the company’s fleet.
• Ensure optimal utilisation and maintenance in line with stated policies and guidelines.
• Verify supporting documents of all Sales for validity, accuracy and completeness, and capture the receipts on the accounting system
• Verify and approve receipt transactions (including; transfers etc), correctly classified, and supported by appropriate source documentation
• Manage General Ledger and Subsidiary Ledger reconciliations.
• Develop and manage the assets register including insurance policy on such assets
• Manage the issuing, recording, reconciliation, replenishment, safekeeping, and accounting of all SUB petty cash
• Managing, documenting and recording of Insurance policy for customers vehicles (on request)
• Carrying out all necessary overall research, analysing results and concluding on the information.
• Record pilot daily remittance
• All other functions as may be directed by the supervisor
