Is like we have all switch to silent mode.am not finding it interesting either.
Yet another day is gone.i think d best option is to pipe low and wait for any year they wish to call d sucessful once.
Been reading all your posts...interesting and usually encouraging. the guy(fusco) who wrote about them taking the top 4 from each state is quite accurate. My contact told me pretty much the same from the beginning of the recruitment process, and told me at each stage to ensure that i studied and was prepared.
The truth is that even with connections and all...you have to earn it...a person who scored 15 in the test would not have been called for the interview. Also the guy who keeps on thinking nothing is on merit ( t cann?)thats not true, theres always a percentage of man know man but a good number of people employed in any serious organisation, that needs people to work will not saddle itself with dumb people just because they were sent by a big name. We are talking about NDIC not just any old civil service job, they need good people.
My younger sister works in NLNG when she applied we knew noone there, but because she distinguished herself during the recruitment process she was one of those hired on merit. So lets continue to look to God for he is the one that is able to do more than we can ever imagine. That uncle or towns lady can fail you but our Heavenly Father can never fail you.
See you at the TOP!
@chiomamoh,nice one
@everyone
pls guys just dont come here seeking info...u can provide some yourselfs...remember blessed is the one that giveth....reach out to ppl u know that know ppl...go to ndic offices in other states...just something.
I hibernated to watch events unfold from afar. It's been a very long and tortuous wait for the 'powers-that-be'. Everything however seems to be playing out exactly the typical Nigerian way. I used to have hope beyond measure, in the ability of FITC/NDIC to conduct some sensible recruitment exercise and admit the best of hands into the employ of the NDIC - a regulator of financial institutions. Alas, hope has suddenly dissolved like ash in my mouth and given way to frustration, disillusion, disappointment and abracadabra.
Something simply doesn't add up with me. If they intended to employ 130 or 150 of us from the start, why the heck did they subject 1000+ people to the interview after 2 aptitude tests? If they had in mind to employ just 2 people from say, Akwa Ibom and Kano, why did they invite 36+ from AKS and 20+ from Kano for the interview? What exactly were their intentions? Just to punish job-seekers? It really makes very little sense to me.
@FUSCO, et al
I have reservations for your claims with respect to the merit criteria. If you say that the top scorers from each state would grab the slots, what if all of them were Bank Examiners for example? Or, IT MA's? And what if the top scorers were DM's? or Managers? And, what if all the Legal people scored slightly above average? Would that therefore mean that no Legal person would be employed? I guess the criteria for selecting people has a broader base than just average of the 3 scores. So many factors would come to play, including who you know.
@ALL
Whoever sees the list should please reveal more. We can't wait. Lets go......
Quoting Celemel.

You were just faster in placing ur post before mine, but you helped me hit my point right on the head!
This poser is open4all, let's trash it!
Its a serious point worth us analysing and justaposing with previous info.Not that the previous infos re wrong, its just to keep ourselves busy,& d house lively!
Ovre to everyone that wil volunteer superior argument.
how long do we have to wait? i also observe that even if you try to search thru FITC website it will display the NDIC interview information but if you click on any info it will display this "The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable". So the question HOW LONG DO WE HAVE TO WAIT, or better still I DONT WANNA WAIT IN VAIN FOR NDIC JOB
@ Chiomamomah…
If you followed the threads properly, you will see that T- Cann does not think nothing is on merit. The point is that as much as we believe that things can be done on merit we are not ruling out the possibility of manipulations along the line. Fusco is also an adherent to this fact….The merit is not 100%.....
@ Celemel nice one
I have also been pondering about the issue you raised. It is a know fact that Bank Examiners has the most number of applicant. What if the top 5 candidates in all states happen to be Bank Examiners and MA (which is not impossible considering their numbers)? Does that mean they are going to recruit only Bank Examiners?
Also don’t forget that the second test wasn’t unified for all departments and all cadres. So how can the same criteria be used for all?
I have looked at all of these issues and came to the conclusion that the selection criteria might not just be average of the scores from the three stages of the selection process. Other criteria may also come into play including who knows who…
What I want now is for them to make the list public so that everyone’s mind will be at rest. I know that whatever the outcome, it is not going to be the end of life and life must definitely continues.
Above all, though nervous, I am still very positive and wish everyone here good luck….Meet you all at the top……
@dbest
Thank you for the attention and correction on d point of fact you brought out of Chiomamomah's post.
I saw Chiomamomah's post but I decided to ignore it because it's obvious he has either not read the previous posts thoroughly or he's mixing up persons vis a vis their posts.
thank you for the comment.
@dbest I didn't say anything was 100% on merit.@t cann sorry bout the mixup from your post u will see a put a questionmark beside ur name as I was sure I was referring to the right person. All the best
Nice one Chiomah You just demonstrated a mature mind...
I mean from my post u will see I wasn't sure I was refering to the right person.
@Chiomamomah
No qualms my broda
Mixups always occur now and again. We re nt totally immune to it.
Thanks to you and dbest.
No problem Chioma we already understand ur point...
Whats up? You sound like someone that can also feed us with info.We will appreciate any info that can lift our spirit and morale...This wait is killing.....
Well I went to visit some guy who is close to some board members and was suprised that people had not received their letters.According to his source people should have started receiving letters by now. When I told him noone had received letters he was suprised and said he would talk to his source and get back to me.
Thumbs up Chiomah...9s one...Your effort is well appreciated...We are sure getting somewhere.....
After all these delays, suspense, intriques, dramas.....the best thing is for ones name to be among the final succesful candidates...anything short of that will not be funny at all.......
House it seems sending notification is not there priority for now lets focus on other things and just pray silently (Source:NDIC Staff)
Lol...guys pls make my calls...fusco whats going on?ur ppl are in the dark.guys dont worry....its been a year and 2months since this recruitment was advertised...they are running on overtime....how embarrassing.
:-[...laughable isnt it?......
All the hullabaloo about NDIC will soon come to an end. And like I predicted in the time past, we'll definitely know who the heroes are before the end of the year. Oh! How I wish y'all were like me. I'm totally indifferent to the outcome of the NDIC recruitment. I made it to the interview & brandished all the qualifications & experience I had. Worst of all was the fact that my area of specialization is insolvency. But lo and behold, while waiting for the outcome of the NDIC screening, the cold hands of an International NGO snatched me away from the Banking Industry where I'd spent three years. And now, I don't know if I will accept the offer if NDIC makes one. So I'm really relaxed about the whole thing.
..well then..good for you
@ Skolar urs is good and u shu thank ur stars for that..Ours is surely on the way...By the way what do u mean by ur area of specialisation being insolvency?...
How I wish I can also be indifferent to this NDIC.....I have tried but I cant help it...This whole thing should get to an end and we know wz up.....
Fusco, Chioma, Teadewole, clubeone05,T-Can...whats the latest?......
New gist!!!my cousin in abj whose wife works at FCC just told me that almost 400 names was sent to the commission by NDIC.pls somebody confirm this gist.this happened in april.
Well since that happened in April and it was in FCC there are since there are latest events in May pointing at the 150 figure I think the 150 supersedes the almost 400. Also the 150 is after the list has left the FCC and back to NDIC so it should be more authentic.
What is baffling me is that if the 400 figure is true and if it is NDIC that sent that to FCC then why reducing it back to 150. I don’t think it is FCCs job to reduce the numbers. I think FCC is just to ascertain if the principle of federal character is adhered to....
I am just trying to do ma own analysis ooooo
@All House Members...... I'm sorry iv been quiet for sumtime, the truth is that meaningful information from me will only be available after the board meeting schedule for Thu 13th(the board are to approve promotion this time.They approved the much talked about recruitment since 25th March). I believe after the meeting, I'll have info to share with u: (1.) reason for the delay & (2.)possible notification time
Thank God for you fusco
This is a solid piece of info
We'll all know the meeting's outcome by today's afternoon or 2moro morning.
God bless you & every other person here.
Ugwanu...we are waiting with our ears openned.......
i am very much interested in this topic not because i applied but because i applied to another federal job and i know that the permutation and intrigues will(?) be the same.
i pray for all of u.something must happen soon.just believe
Reliable information reaching me is that this assessment and final shortlist we are ALL anticipating is STRICTLY on Merit.
BUT there will be spaces left for lobbyist and those candidates will come in after those of us with MERITS would have resumed.
And when i confirmed with similar Organization's recruitment in the very recent past, the situation was the same.
Guys go and relax and keep praying, nobody will substitute your name if you have been genuinely shortlisted in the first place.
Goodluck to house members.
What we're after for d moment is when are dey going to call. D info of merit or not is secondary
can some pls confirm the induction taking place at NDIC. i just got the information this morning
i ve nt heard anytin,where did u get d info 4rm?
from a friend who works there
I gues the only intresting thing to hear now is when exactly succesful candidates will be contacted.I dont have that info myself.
Meanwhile, I just heared the info that each department is having at least 15 candidates.....
On your marks, Set--------------the whistle is about to be blown.
Lets see who blows it first
.......and the saga continues
Lets hope and pray.pls fusco how far with the outcome of the meeting?
