Investment Research Assistant (Lagos)

A small Investment Advisory & Research Firm located at Victoria Island Extension requires the service of a Research Assistant in its Investment Research Unit.

The ideal candidate will be:

1. A second class honours or higher graduate in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or Sciences. Kindly note that no other concentrations will be considered!

2. previous internship or job experience in the areas of investment advisory, investment research and investment management will be highly desirable.

3. Knowledge of the stock market and how it works and recent developments will be an added advantage.

4. Dexterity with numbers and comfortable use of Excel (You will be tested).

5. Humble nature and ability to learn a lot in a short period of time.

6. Analytical nature and very hardworking.

7. Knowledge of people and/or companies that you can influence to use our services is also highly desirable.

8. Above average writing ability. (You will be tested)

A quantitative aptitude test will be administered which must be passed to move to the next round of evaluation.

Quantitative aptitude test will be administered on Saturday, April 24th, 2010. If you will not be available on this day in Lagos for the aptitude test, kindly do not apply! No change of dates will be granted.
