Investment Research Assistant/Associate (1 - 3 years relevant experience)

An investment advisory and research firm in Lagos seeks an Investment Research Assistant/Associate for immediate employment.

Requirements:

Second Class Upper or better in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Accounting and numerate sciences.

Prior experience working in a mutual fund company, investment research department of an investment bank, brokerage or consulting firm is highly desirable.

Ideally should have passed the first level of the CFA or have a Master's in Finance

Committed oneself to a career in Research (Just looking for a job need not bother applying)

Good writing skills with a flair for writing (will be assessed)

MUST BE CONVERSANT WITH USE OF MICROSOFT EXCEL (Computer Dinosaurs need not bother applying regardless of other qualifications)

Analytical, smart, ability to handle the pressure of deadlines and high level of productivity is absolutely necessary

Additional:

Must pass our Quantitative Aptitude Test to be short-listed for interview

Expected to contribute to Research Sales and part of compensation will be tied to this aspect of the business.

Resumption in February preferred.
