If You hate Dragnet Raise up your Hand!!

Oya how many of you hate Dragnet ?

I think the verbal reasoning is the major cause of failure in any apptitude test conducted by dragnet and also i believe they use NEGATIVE MARKING IN THAT ASPECT AS WELL,MY ADVICE IS,IF U DON'T KNOW IT LEAVE IT ALONE.

Dragnet is not that bad. Been very successful in the two tests i've written with them.

The verbal part can be very tricky because of the very limited time. The time doesnt allow you answer all the questions in this section if you have to read the whole passage over and over again.

So, what i do is read the questions first, then scan through the passage and find the phrases related to the key terms in the question.

If only major companies can understand the plight of the nigerian graduate by handling apptitude tests themselves and nt using workforce or Dragnet,things for better.

There are two ways to attempt the verbals.
1. Read the passage briskly & deeply & then go on to the questions(this works for people who have trained themselves in reading quickly while retaining basic information,else you would use up all of the time reading over & over)
2. Read the question & scan for the area/passage that bothers about the questions

I usually apply No. 2, as I have found out that the time,pressure etc may not allow an effective use of No. 1.
There are also very many other practices.

I believe that when we get more genuinely intentional about these processes we just MIGHT perform better.The thing still is does passing these test guarantee the job?
I haven't failed any dragnet test but I haven't got a job through them(and trust me the interviews aint the problem).

unlike workforce, it takes u seconds to fill their application portal... for dragnet, they shud make the portal quite easier.. i ve nothing with their exams but i just don't like dragnet simple.. One hand up.

pls is guessing is advisable in d verbal part.

Seriously the verbal reasoning is a torn in the flesh º°˚ . I have never finished that aspect b4 and I think is d major source of candidates poor performance. In God I trust. Is there anyone that had gotten an employment through them? I think is a question to ask.

i have friends who got employed in the 2009 flour mills recruitment which was also organized by dragnet. I was also invited for the final interview but i couldnt attend cos i was far away in katsina undergoing the 3 weeks nysc orientation program.

the first stage was the aptitude test conducted by dragnet.

Next, was a written interview consisting of an essay and short interview questions which was held at apapa.

Then, a final oral interview, after which successful applicants were selected for the graduate trainee scheme.

Guys, the problem I have with dragnet and workforce is that they don't send score for the sections so how can one know where one fails. If the scores are always released, we can compare scores and know who is the boss. Dragnet are no angel, there will always be the Nigeria wayo factor so what are we talking about. They are smart enough to take some by merit so they can share their good testimony with fellow naive applicants. I would suggest each Firm organise their own Test themselves so they chose those they would need rather than letting Dragnet waste the resources of hundreds of we struggling job applicant on an already futile endeavour. Finally for me it is a THUMBS DOWN for dragnet.

as uhonmoru said.. try read the questions first, then scan thru the passage fast. noting the questions and their possible answer. please base ur answer from the passage not from what u know or believe. a way to confuse pple is by putting what they believe among the options. again time urself. try to be super fast.
for the maths use ur calculator. it will increase your speed a lot. for the spatial. its easy if you understand the logic. practice quantitative reason well. know the connection between the objects.
