We are looking for Finance and Accounts Manager for airlines Industry.


Finance and Accounts Manager


Industry : Airlines Industry
Experience : 5 - 10 Years
Education : B Com Graduate with MBA or CA inter or Another equivalent qualification. Hands on skills on


computer is must with a Knowledge in Tally 9 is an advantage
Location : Nigeria




Key responsibility:
Finance
Manage day to day cash flow, forecast cash requirement and surplus fund movements to HO
Liaising and managing relationship with local banks
Ensure collection and banking are done promptly
Passenger/Cargo sales accounting and Ensure ADMs/ACMs are raised promptly
Action refunds promptly and maintain appropriate record
Responsible for local sales ledger and credit control, including IATA agency Credentials.
To ensure suppliers' invoices are processed speedily and payments are made within the agreed terms,


maintaining up to date agreement and contractual details
Responsible for all local encashment facilities including petty cash floats
Apply HO procurement policy to support line management with negotiation and review of major contracts to


ensure best value for money
Preparation and execution of monthly payroll and Preparation /submission of service tax returns
Filling of Individual / Corporate Tax returns and Filling of Professional Tax, Commercial Tax, and other Tax.
Revenue accounting /MIS
Accounts
Preparation of Vouchers, Journal and Ledger, Daily Cash Statements
Maintenance of Revenue Documents (Manual and ATB Tickets, Cargo Airway Bills)
Preparation of Stock Statements Monthly Wise
Preparation of Pax & Cargo Sales Reports Fort Night Basis
Maintenance of Bank Transactions and Preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements
Maintenance of Agents Sales Reports and Preparation of Invoices.
Filling of Returns - Income tax, Professional Tax, Service Tax, Commercial Tax (Under Air Transportation


Rules)
Registrations under AP Establishment and Central Labor Commission
Specialized in BSP Reports, Cargo Sales Reports, Preparation of IMS Reports
Specialized in Maintenance of books in view of GSA and Maintenance of Books like Flight Expenses


Statements
Filling of Individual / Corporate Income Tax returns
Register of Commercial Tax, Sales Tax, Central Excise, Central Labor Act, State Labor Act
Specialized in Refund Calculations & ACM Calculations
Filling of Professional Tax, Commercial Tax, etc.
Maintenance of Books for Flight related Expenses (FAAN & NCAA Payments) Like PSE, Landing &


Parking Charges, CUC Charges & Ground Handling Expenses
Maintenance of Salary Statements of Staff
Preparation of Statements of Accounts and Repatriation Accounts for the company.
Preparation of Budgets related to Promotional and Advertisement Expenses, Capital Expenditure, Cost


Expenses, and Cargo Budget




Preference :


Must be working in Airlines like Go Air and Indigo
Efficient at document and database management.
