The Customer Care Assistant Job
The Customer Care Assistant greets/acknowledges all guests entering and leaving the Medical Center, ascertains individual guest needs and responds immediately/appropriately. Arranges for or provides direction/way-finding information, arranges for or provides escort/transport to appropriate locations in the facility. Ensures guest safety and satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
*Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.
*Appropriately greets/acknowledges all guests entering and leaving the Medical Center.
*Assesses the guest’s need(s) and directs them to the volunteer information desk receptionist and/or arranges escort/transport with volunteer escort.
*Assumes lead role in resolving crisis situations; initiates incident report process; performs service recovery as needed.
*Assumes lead role in finding solutions/answers for complex questions or guest concerns.
*Coordinates escort/transport needs received from Medical Center areas and physician offices via Vocera communication system.
*Operates wheelchairs to ensure the safety of the rider at all times.
*Follows emergency procedures as appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalency required. Minimum of one (1) year experience in customer service or medical environment requiring frequent public contact.
