Job description
Dimensions Of The Job
- Egina is a deep offshore development located in block OML130 in Nigeria operated by TOTAL Upstream Nigeria Limited.
- The development is located 150 km from the coast in 1550 m water depth and includes a spread moored FPSO of 240 POB, associated offloading calm buoy, 2 productions loops connecting six subsea manifold with 21 production wells and 3 injection lines connecting 23 water injection wells.
- A 20km gas export line ties in to the Akpo export pipeline to Amenam.
Tasks
As part of a team job:
- Guarantee implementation of a quality policy for operability, maintainability, reliability and safety of surface installations
- Define, prepare and implement production operating means
- Contribute to increasing the expertise of surface operations personnel
- Prepare and execute commissioning
- Execute (or have executed) start-up
Activities
At project phase:
- Ensure and have ensured engineering follow-up for surface operations activities (operability, maintainability, etc)
- Supervise the execution of maintenance and inspection engineering
- Coordinate the PTR and production operating audits on the project
- Ensure liaison with the surface operations division on all production operating problems arising from the reference system
- Coordinate the promotion of actions for checking and improving production operation
- In the commissioning, start-up phase:
- Coordinate with the project manager the overlap periods (pre-com, com)
- Coordinate with the drilling manager acceptance of wells
- Define and ensure provision of the production operating dossier (operating manuals, operating philosophy, procedures, instructions?)
- Supervise and define specific process studies
- Take part in Hazid, Hazop, CTR, etc
HSE:
- Participate in close liaison with the HSE Manager in the identification of the Safety Critical Elements and in the definition of the related testing and recording requirements
Required skills
- Education
- Degree in Petroleum Engineering.
Experience
- Oil & Gas multi-discipline technical background in deep offshore production.
- 15 years experience in operational Oil & Gas activities including a minimum of 10 years in Field Operations. Experience in Risk analysis, HSE, procedures.
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment and used to communication with international technical staff and experts.
