IDEAL PROFILE:

Experiencedand goal-oriented Account Executive with a demonstrated track record of leadingthe setting up and implementation of an Accounting System. Solid background inAudit and Assurance, tracking and controlling financial and operationalexpenditures. Demonstrates financial troubleshooting skills with proven abilityto clarify situations. Possesses exceptional work ethics even under pressure,and can meet tight targets at short notice.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Preparingmonthly management accounts including narrative report on budget variances.

- Provision of regular cash flow information toassist Company plan payments.

- Provide directors/management team withanswers to ad hoc requests for financial analysis.

- Recommend investment of surplus funds forbest return on investment (ROI) (Treasury function)

- Development, implementation and operation ofsystems and procedures to ensure integrity of accounting information and safecustody of assets, including procedures to eliminate and detect fraud or theftof company assets.

- Manage, day-to-day, accounts department staffincluding annual appraisal and recruitment as necessary.

- Annually, prepare detailed financial budgetsand cash flow working closely with budget holders and line managers.

- Attend Management and/or Financial Committeemeetings and responsibility for minutes.

- Supervise payroll and payroll annual returns.

- Maintain appropriate expenditure records andreporting.

- Ensure debts are collected in a timelyfashion, and all contract conditions are met.

- Supervise monthly bank reconciliations andchecking all control accounts including sales ledger, purchase ledger, VATaccount, PAYE, etc.

- Assist CEO and Board with effectivecommunication/ reporting of Company financial performance to its stakeholdersmaking effective use of information technology.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5 years strong working experience at a senior level, of which 2 years should be in an Audit Firm.
• MS Office (Word, Excel ( Extensive knowledge), and PowerPoint) and Flexibility in Technology integration
• Professional Membership ACCA and/or ICAN.
• Proactive and independent

SALARY RANGE

N3,500,000 to N3,800,000 Per annum
