it only applies if and only if u have not gone for the training,i dont mean that u have 2 leave the one u have,u see access is good,but banking is not really safe,with all dis new policies here and there,or u may still forfeit the consolidated brewery stuff,but remember that in access,u must perform very well in the training school,there entry level pay is good sha about 94k,i believe that dis pay will be very ok,but if u find urself in marketing dept,make sure u meet d target in 6 months,dey dont accept excuses @ all.

First of all, i soundin d way i did abt access bank is nt bcos i am nt aware dat putin eggs in one basket is dangerous bt bcos i dnt wanna loose wat i already have. In access bank trainin sch atleast from wat i heard from frnds dat started on d 30th, of april, class wuld b from 9am to 6pm..sometimes till 8pm. dey only have 2-3hrs break for lunch n tea break. D reason y its hard to leave d sch is dat bfor n afta each class, attendance will b taken n ones name must b on d list except d trainin cordinator gives one a leave permit. If one even forms sick sef, dey will send u to deir bank doctor to check u up n determine if u will b given a leave permit or hw many days u wuld b given. Dats y its always hard to attend anoda interview else where and if caught, na expelle o!...wel, dats hw it is in oda bank trainin sch too i guess...d monitorin is always like dat cos no bank wuld wanna waste money on train staff dat r nt crious or still wanna find anoda job elsewhere cos each person is bein paid n fed well.

@ sonssy, d pay for entry level for access bank is 2million annually..dats like 166k bt after tax, upfront n medicals, d monthly take home will b 120k bt every 4month, 18k will b added to it n upfront of abt 200k added to d salary at d beginnin of every yr. if u ask me, d package is kinda fair. Wel as for d bank and marketin fin, i really understand d whole stress cos m wif sterling bank nw...trust me, i wuld rather b in marketin dan b in operations n dis is cos its very easy to get promoted as a marketer or even move to anoda bank. If u ask ursef, which bank wuld wanna employ an experienced operation staff?? except on few occations dey employ head of operations(HOP) and dis happens ones in a very red moon,lolz. Bt marketers get dos offers easily. Even for u to b a branch manager(BM) one will have to have yrs of experience as a marketer cos most banks prefer usin marketers as BMs. I understand marketin has wahala and its also risky bt if we ask oursefs, is dere anyfin in dis life dat is good do nt have high risk??? Even dos oil guys dat earn mad money, d field guys also go tru lots of risk dats y dey earn dos kinda money.

@ dos dat wants a copy of ma CV, i will really say its nt really abt ones CV...its more of Gods grace dat one gets selected...i also knw hw many coys i have applied to dat i didnt get d invite. Wat most coys look at is wat dey want...take forinstance, if dey want someone wif a 2.1, below 24 n probs a science background, n u possess all dis, den u stand a chance of bein selected n all. Also, i will also love to add dat its imperative to knw hw to apply to a coy n nt just wait for an openin. An example of hw i do mine is by gettin d names and address of some coy and post ma CV tru d post office addressin it to d head of HR. In most coys, d securities will always tell u ''dey dnt accept CV'' bt dey cant stop a mail from reachin d head of HR. M nt sayin it always work bt u can agree wif me dat it has atleast a 20% success rate. For all its worth, i can send ma cv and cover letter to dos dat requestd for it.

I couldn't agree more with Zeus's assertion on marketing in banks; thats hw it works. Marketers get promoted easily and they r the BMs. But one has to work hard and play a lil office politics to achieve this- above all, its God's grace. I am having this experience at the moment.
