Compliance Officer CODE: CO-08/2015

We are a reputable, world class, dynamic, creative and result oriented organization. We are currently recruiting for the post of Compliance officer.

The ideal candidate will function as an independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues within the organization. He/she will coordinate planning and implementation of the company’s compliance program and responsible for designing of policies and procedures for implementation.

Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance to the company’s training plan
Investigate complaints and coordinates action plans with other department
Develop policies and programs that encourages staff to report suspected fraud and impropriety without fear of retaliation
Maintain a log of communications received relevant to compliance
Develop and maintain standards of conduct as well as other related policies, procedures and rules
Develop audit controls and measurement to ensure correct practises are established
Report regularly to the appropriate committee on the status of compliance program

Requirements:

Relevant university degree/equivalent
Professional qualification will be an added advantage
Strong auditing or compliance background (3-5 years)
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Highly motivated, results-oriented individual who is able to work independently under minimal supervision with an attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical, research and problem solving, skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data.
Ability to manage numerous tasks and sensitive information in a professional manner in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to summarize and present findings in a clear and concise manner
