Job Description
Primary school teachers develop lesson plans in line with curriculum objectivities. They facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with pupils, their role is to develop and foster the appropriate skills and sociable abilities to enable the optimum development of children, according to age, ability and aptitude.

Job level
Experienced, minimum of 3 years

Duties/ Responsibilities

• Teaching all areas of the primary curriculum
• Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the ability range within the class.
• Motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation.
• Maintain discipline in the classroom
• Providing feedback to parents and guardians
• Liaising with colleagues and working flexibly
• Keeping up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
• Creating displays in the classroom to encourage a positive learning environment.
• Work as part of a team to carry out vision and mission of Sang Bleu Schools
• Maintain an organised and inviting physical environment
• Handles stressful situations with grace, patience and flexibility
• Consulting appropriate management level in a timely manner for struggling pupils.

Qualification

• Minimum of a second class lower in a Bachelors degree
• Grade 2 or N.C.E
