Job Description
A leading firm of Insurance broking based in Lagos is urgently seeking to hire for its head office in Lagos

Responsibilities
Acknowledge In writing notification from the insured.
Register claim and allocate reference number.
Communicates claim to underwriters vie phone call and written correspondence.
Request for relevant claim supporting documents from the insured.
Liaises with appointed adjuster/engineer for immediate investigation of claim.
Communicate to the insured reason (s) for rejection of claim, if claim is rejected.
Forward discharge voucher to the insured for execution.
Forward executed discharge voucher to underwriter in exchange for cheque.
Forward settlement cheque to insured in final settlement of claim.
Preparation of overall monthly claim analysis.

Qualification/Experience
Candidate for this position must be between the ages of 25 - 35ears.
The candidate must have a first degree in any social sciences with a minimum of second class lower. Professional membership of CIIN is an added advantage. Candidate without relevance experience needs not apply.
Minimum of three years (3 ) experience in underwriting and claims.
Ability to work independently in a target driven environment.
Strong inter-personal skills, oral and written communication skills are essential.
Presentation skills.
Proven use of MS Office packages i.e Microsoft Word, Microsoft excel and Power Point.
Experience in Insurance Technical Operations will be an added advantage.
