Due to the recent development and restructuring in our organisation, we currently requires for immediate employment a CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER with the following qualificationHND/Bsc in Financial related disciplineMinimum of five years working experienceAn MBA is an added advantageMembership of appropriate professional qualification is requiredDetailed Job descriptionPosition: Chief Financial OfficerReports to: Chief Executive OfficerJOB ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible and accountable for strategic financial management of the Company and driving results in Accounting &Control, Treasury, Risk Management, Tax, Investor Relations and Internal Audit.Ensure that the company is liquid and Manage the liquidity of the Company, monitor cash balances and provide accurate cash forecasts. Arrange for debt andequity financing as required and prudently invest/manage any surplus funds in accordance with Company policies andprocedures.Be actively involved in supporting the company's overall strategy including setting and agreeing to financial covenants withlenders.Identify and evaluate opportunities and make presentations to - and actively participate in - investor meetings,Presentations related to significant potential financing or strategic acquisitions.Take responsibility together with the CEO, for corporate development, which involves negotiating and closing commercialtransactions/contracts, handling indemnity, allocating risk, construct and monitor reliable control systems and maintainappropriate insurance coverage.Take responsibility to mitigate key elements of the Company's risk profile, monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry. Ensure that the Company complies with all legal and regulatoryrequirements, that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies.Act as the primary interface with the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and report all risk issues to the AuditCommittee and maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.Maintain high level contacts with money markets, financial institutions and also manage relationships with commercialbankers, rating agencies, public auditors, and other business service providers.Actively involved in Board formation in conjunction with the CEO.Coordinates all matters related to Human resources and employment, Information Technology, Administrative and Legal related Matters.Interested applicants should forward their comprehensive CV to [email protected] quoting CFO as the subject
