Chartered Accountant Urgently Needed

A seasoned accountant is required urgently in our organisation to carry out the following responsibilities:

• Manage the accounting / financial processes and professional documentation and Filling.
• Timely and accurate preparation of monthly cash and bank reconciliation reports working closely with the various unit heads.Daily posting of financial transactions.
• Disbursement of approved transactions to contractors and consultants while ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
• Interface with our External accounting service providers and auditors.Ensures that internal control procedures are followed for all cash disbursements, receipts and transfers.
• Work with the Human Resources and Payroll Administrator in the preparation of employee payroll and payments.
• undertaking financial audits (an independent check of an organisation's financial position).
• continuous management of financial systems and budgets.
• preparing financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting.
• advising on tax and treasury issues.
• Performs other accounting duties assigned.

The requirements are:

• Minimum of a BSc in Accounting with 4 years hands-on experience..
• ICAN/ACCA Professional qualification.
• Must have cognate experience working with accounting packages and in-depth understanding of accounting standards.
• Familiar with standard accounting applications.
