Job Title: Business Development Manager

The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to prospect for new customers through strategic marketing plans. S/he is responsible for managing and growing existing business relationships. S/he must plan persuasive approaches that will convince customers to purchase the product/ increase sales.

Requirements:
The candidate should:
· Have strong Brand Management knowledge and experience;
· Excellent Business Development and Relationship Management skills
· Good I.T. Skills; especially Power point and Excel
· Strong Negotiation and Presentation skills
· Experience creating, costing and implementing sales / marketing / advertising plans
· Ability to work to targets / goals / deadlines

  • They should be outgoing, friendly and exceptional at building rapport.

· Previous travel experience or evidence of ability to travel to the western economies/world / economies is an added advantage

Duties: The Business Development Manager will

  • Oversee all functions of Sales, Marketing & Brand management for the product;
  • Prospect for potential new customers and turns this into increased business
  • Develop Strategic Marketing plans and awareness for the product
  • Work as a trainer and deliver training programs
  • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the sales team
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, products and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales


Qualification: A first degree is essential, preferable in a marketing related course. Masters is an added advantage

Minimum of 3 years working experience in Marketing or Brand management
Salary: 60-100k monthly depending on experience; plus attractive Incentives, Bonuses and Commission.
