Ahmadu Bello Foundation offers scholarship to 190 youths - Northern Nigeria

Ahmadu Bello Foundation has offered scholarship to 190 youths; 10 from each of the 19 states of northern Nigeria.

Besides, it called for an urgent intervention of northern state governors in the lingering communal crisis in Nasarawa state to avoid compounding the socio-economic challenges facing the region.
The foundation’s Managing Director, Dr. Shettima Ali, stated this, while briefing the chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum (NSGF) and Governor of Niger State, Dr. Mu’azu Bababngida Aliyu, on its activities since inception. Shettima said despite efforts being made to bridge developmental gap between North and South, the issue of socio-cultural and religion has been a problem in the zone.
