Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial operations within the Finance division, Payroll administration, Accounts Payable and Inter-company accounts.
He will report to the Chief Accountant.
Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial report and comments on variances from budgeted level.
• Preparation of trial balances, Absenteeism, Normal hour & overtime comparism and staff distribution analysis.
• Assist with preparation of financial report and comments on same.
• Management of implemented standard, ensuring that all Company/Departmental objectives & targets are adhered to by subordinates.
• Responsible for month end closure and preparation of the trial balances.
• Supervision of intercompany accounts, salary and wages preparation

Qualifications et experience

• Must have a B.Sc / HND in Accounting with professional qualification
• Must be a Chartered Accountant
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar / related position
• Must be very conversant with accounting packages
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be confident, hardworking, honest and result oriented
• Good command over written and spoken English
