Account Manager

A leading Nigerian Infrastructure Development company that telecommunications network infrastructure solutions that include supply and installation of equipment, equipment testing, commissioning and maintenance of telecommunication networks, seeks a qualified individual to fill the position of Account Manager.

Responsiibilites

• Ability to make realistic forecast due to good relationship with customer.
• Understanding of all units products and services in order to manage communications and relationship with customer at all phases of projects.
• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process
• Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
• Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues
• Leverage on existing relationships to deepen opportunities within an account
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
• Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
• Prepare financial management reports.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
• Understand project budgets, cash flow challenges, cost control and management to ensure profitability of accounts.
• Have an in-depth understanding of the products base and ability to make and defend fact based proposals .
• Be abreast with the customers business atmosphere and understand direction of customer business to advise management.
• Compile and analyze financial information to preparefinancial statements including monthly and annual accounts.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• A bachelors’ degree in Accounting, with not below Second Class lower grade. A Masters Degree with specialization in Accounting will be an added advantage.
• 3-5 Experience in a similar position with ability to motivate and provide leadership to the accounting team.
• Should be ICAN or ACCA certified.
