Vacancy for Logistics Officer

LOGISTICS OFFICER

Reports to Head of Infrastructure
? Import/ Export coordination and documentation
? Excellent communication skills and courteous in providing customer service
? Ability to track shipment and liaise with the accredited clearing agent for clearing
? Ensure that all documentation, job costing and billing are process in a timely manner and complies with customers’ requirements.
? Conforming to and meeting the internal and external KPIs set
? Responsible for ordering and procurement of project equipment
o Assess the quantity of materials required to implement client project
o Efficiently organise the delivery of all materials to the required locations
o Organise all necessary labour and security required by the project
o Liaise between contractors, service providers and logistics to create an efficient logistical support
? Implement the stock management policy for the company
? Educate & coach relevant staff in stock management systems
? Ensure that all goods are received in store and shipped to final destination according logistics policies
Qualifications:
Minimum: HND or University first degree

Experience:
? 2 years experience in similar industry is a MUST
? Minimum qualification in Diploma of any disciplines
? Able to interact effectively at all levels and show positive attitude
? Proficient in MS Office
? Commitment to beneficiary accountability and humanitarian ethics.
? Able to work with limited supervision
? Able to write clear reports
? Good interpersonal skills
? Able to deliver to deadlines and budgets
