Interesting Contract Vacancies

Our client is a Telecoms and maintenance services company based in Lagos whose structure is to support the ongoing roll out plan for companies and support the technology design up to implementation within the next four months. They are now looking to recruit smart and intelligent individuals who will assist in realizing this project by filling in the positions below.

The people who will be identified for this project will be offered a four months contract only, starting from the month of august 2010 to wind down in the month of November/December 2010.


1. BUDGET OFFICER
• The budget officer will be in control of all the financial transactions of the entire project and will be responsible for tracking all expenses and records.
• The successful candidate will be in-charge of handling financial process for payment of contractors/vendors.
• Review the most recent cost allocation plan and integrate the plan into the current budget document
• Manage the budget across various departments.


2. SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT OFFICER
• The successful candidate will review all the contractors’ service level agreements and screens to ensure conformity to international level of service acceptability.
• He/she will also ensure the realistic and acceptable service delivery within the challenges of operation environment.


3. MANAGER IP/WAN:
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the firms IP and WAN design.
• Monitor and configure all technology solution deployment as regards the use of his space for operations.
• He will also be responsible for acceptance test for all the activities within his space. Documentation for activities within his space will be required and ability to liaise effectively with integrators for performance within the project time.
• His responsibilities also include the design of authentication strategy for all users, to access the different resources of the firm.
• He must be skilled in the use of high end switches and routing designs.


4. MANAGER HARDWARE AND STORAGE
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and automation of the entire IT storage design implementation and documentation along side strategy for growth of storage in the entire nationwide role out.
• He will champion the use of technology standard for storage and retrieval of tools for optimum retrieval and write.
• He will also keep account and manage the effective provisional allocation of space for critical data storage and design for standard storage devices with applicable and practicable maintenance for the space.
• This role also includes the recommendation of the right hardware sizing with workstation operationability and conformity with the entire business objectives.
• Design workstation relationship and communication strategy for path and space usage.

5. MANAGER REAL ESTATE/SURVIELLANCE
Responsibilities:
• To ensure the effective and appropriate use of the right technological solutions as provided and assigned the contractor in implementation for the firm.
• Guarantee the completion of the entire process within the stipulated time frame of the exercise.
• Test and document the entire installation process and stages for quality delivery and conformity to standard procedures for isolation and guide the contractor to fulfill is obligations to the firm in line with the agreed terms of service as captured in the service level agreement of the contract.
• Test and capture all processes and integration points/ interface to provide linkage support were necessary with related members of the project for integration and resource provision.
• He will also oversee the design for implementation and risk assessment. Pointing out risk areas and mitigation plan for purposes of immediate rectification.
• Manage the networking (LAN) and physical infrastructure which will also be the domain for execution. He is saddled with the responsibility of fire, intrusion and access points.
• Provide accurate documentation, integration as well as implementation supervision within the sphere of the network solution design.
• Supervise and observe contractors to completion of their assignment.
• Raise critical areas of concern to the project director.
