JOB DESCRIPTION
The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing information systems, which will adequately support the enterprise infrastructure of the organisation.

JOB FUNCTIONS
• Establish positions, recommend technologies, develop architectures and targets based on the strategic
plan and other duties of an architecture
• Analyses, defines, and documents requirement for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and
operating systems environment
• Analyze the system requirements and ensure that systems will offer security and will be effectively
integrated with current applications
• Ensure that complex infrastructure solutions are scoped, architected and designed with sufficient due
diligence to ensure a successful implementation and ongoing operation processes
• Ensure that all systems are working at optimal levels, and offer support to application development
department regarding new technologies and systems requirements
• Create and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and
requirement
• Renews object and data models and the metadata reporting to structure the data for better
management and quicker access

EXPERIENCE
• 8+ years related professional work experience

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
• A bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer Science or Electronic Engineering

REQUIREMENTS
• Possess thorough knowledge of infrastructure, application, programming, and software application
• Well versed in key customer business challenges and strategies, with specific experience in
Telecommunications Service Provider environments
• Strong technical and project management skills, and must be able to work with other development
teams
• Proven experience with understanding and assessing infrastructure sizing and performance planning,
including network topology and processing capacity
• Proven experience working with project teams and vendors in a leadership role to establish
infrastructure standards and capabilities based on business requirements, service level agreements and
IT funding
• Ability to propose and evaluate infrastructure architectures that are aligned with enterprise (global)
business and IT strategies
• Proven experience with defining and evaluating solutions, vendors, and technologies related to IT
infrastructure
• Understanding of industry, vendor direction, and trends
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, proven presentation skills.
