PLS,I BEG U IN THE NAME OF GOD, DON'T RESIGN.DISCUSS THE MATTER WITH UR BOSS EXPLAINING THE SITUATION TO HIM OR HER BECAUSE IF U STOP,U WILL START SEARCHING 4 ANOTHER JOB BUT IF U CONTINUE,U MIGHT GET CONNECTION 4M THERE OR THE COMPANY MIGHT REVIEW UR SALARY.GOD WILL SURLY BE WITH U...................................AMEN.

dont resign oooo.
if you are a fresh graduate or have low year  working experiense see it as an opportunity to increase your years of experience. Economic crisis is really troubling so many company and most not recruiting. it is better you join your company to Ajah and one day they will see reason to increase your salary. you can even hook up with people who come to the island. i work in lekki too but i live in ikorodu. althou not thesame situation with you. please endure till you get another job. dont ever become unemployed by urself.

Please do not resign. In every workplace there is need for one to be assertive. Discuss with your boss, there is no way he/she would not give you a raise. Its logical.

Olaomole,Most people have this problem. You have beengiven quality advice by some peoplelike Socail, Unimna et al. Don't resign(or at least till you get something better). Though bad, underemployment is better not unemployment.Their is hope in one,the other despair. A friend once gave me encouragement by telling me "It can only get better".A bird at hand....................

Bring it up with management, discuss the issue, plan on how to get accommodation around your new office, is the office moving completely to ajah, a bird at hand worth's million than thousand in the bush.

Be wise and think wise my friend.

No matter what any one advices,u have the final say!!consider these things
Is the company well known or xperienced in its bussiness
Do u still have time 4 ur self n time 4 tests or interview as dey arise?
How long have u been there?
Apart 4rm financially,r u adding value 2 ur self somehow there.
Ask ur self, more questions then take a bold step, its u wearing d shoe n know where it aches!!

                                                              wishing  u d best

there is a way that seemeth right to a man, it is something only you have the complete answer to, but if i were you, i would never even see resignation as an option. patient my friend"" who knows what is in the bag for you. keep on, dream on and just hold on, there seems a lot of light at the end of the dark tunnel. God bless us all.

Try and relocte to the area. If you cant, go to the management and see what happens. If nothing happens in three months, flee. If you dont flee after three months, you will remain at break even point.
