Position:       Team Lead Internet & Data Services

Location:       Lagos

Functions

- Oversee Design and deployment of distributed internet POP sites and infrastructure within MTN Nigeria?s redundant internet backbone architecture
- Oversee Service provisioning for the all MTN Fixed data infrastructure, good knowledge of DSL technology required
- Produce, maintain and evolve strategy and roadmap for continuous achievement of higher cost efficiency and reliability in MTN?s Internet Service Provision plan
- Develop, evolve and control NWG methodologies for acquisition and distribution of public (internet) IP addressing and Autonomous system numbering for achievement of MTN Nigeria?s internal and external data service obligations

Requirements

- Five(5) years extensive experience in IT, Telecommunications & Systems integration preferably in a mobile SP environment
- Minimum Cisco qualification of CCNP/DP level with advanced IP specialization and network design experience
- Sound understanding of Telecom standards and working knowledge of IP/MPLS and BGP peering techniques
- Data and Voice Networking protocols such as IP, BGP, Frame Relay, VOIP, SIGTRAN
- Advanced Routing (BGP) and OOS mechanism & deployed techniques

Position:      Administrator Business Risk Management

Functions

- Compile and coordinate all internal report findings and information packs for various stakeholders groupings ? Monthly performance reviews

Position:       Budget Accountant Business Solutions

Location:      Lagos

Functions

- Analyze individual segment forecasts and develop a holistic/total forecast for Business Solutions in line with the departmental strategy/objectives
- Recommend Opex saving initiatives and efficient deployment of resources within the Business Solutions Division
- Ensure accurate financial reporting within Business Solutions Division, Finance planning and the Group as at when required

Position:        Contracts Supervisor

Location:        Lagos

Functions

- Developing policies for contract negotiation, contract review and management of suppliers or adapt company policies where they exist
- Design and develop procedures for efficient implementation of policies
Support the procurement process

Supervise contracts, monitor responses and make recommendation for contract awards

it's a very crippling situation to see that a young brother can't get a job simply because he's a fresh graduate. i'd really love to know what would happen when all the experienced ones get too old to occupy those seats and rot away. by then they would expect us to perform wonders on little or no experience. i must say this, the banking sector is the only sector that really gives the fresh graduates from all spheres of life a chance to work and gain experience. if i'm wrong please let me know.

Mr, first of all, I must say that this was a real bad comment to make about MTN. You were really being personal. Even if MTN is not really particular about the development of the nation [becaus they do not give additional benefits to their suscribers], it does not mean that you should come out on naijahotjobs to say that.
You have your picture here and even your e-mail address. It is very possible to trace you out and sue you for damages as regards 'blackmail'.

I belive strongly that if you have any question as regards their services, you should go ahead to contact them directly on their customer care rather than coming to post it on naijahotjobs. There is really no correlation between the fact that they are advertising a job and that we should chase them away. Have you ever taken your time to think of the number of employments MTN has offered both graduates and experienced professionals. If job offers is not your definition of economic development then what are you trying to tell us.

The only thing I just have to say is Guys, lets be reasonable and security conscious when sending our posts to naijahotjobs and other websites, most especially those who have thier pictures online.

To be forewarned is to be fore-armed.

As regards the issues of whether or not they are recruiting fresh graduates, I think what we fresh graduates need is prayers. We just have to pray.

Our political leaders are not helping matters. There are no enough jobs for graduates and they keep on approving the building of new Universities. Infact, more graduates are being produced.

The fault is not from the recruiters but rather from the System. The system is already disgusting. Things are fast becoming chaotic. It is looking like we are getting to anarchy and everyone is fast becoming a BOSS in his own corner.

We really have to pray and also have a strong believe that even if there may be no enough jobs, my job is definitely there waiting for me.

 I Think its good everyone gave a peice of their minds. Its terribly true how our nigerain organizations never think of young graduates. perhaps they fail to understand that fresh graduates will surely have fresher and better  ideas on how to make our great Nigeria  a better place. Its as if the old saying that we are the leaders of tomorrow is nothing but empty words cos they do not believe in our tomorrow.

but i bet to say that whether the old ones believe in our future or not we on our part should not give up our dreams cos truly the future belongs to us, our time will come and has now come. we should not allow our dreams to be trampled on by these people thus if we cant get a ready made job we can ceate one for ourselves.

overtime i have observed that does who work in banks, or any other organization literarily become slaves to the economy. our lifes are dictated and programmed for work. and chop alone without fulfillment, so what are we saying... its is better to create this opprtunities thereby re-creating our future than lamenting over job or no job.

i must agree it is frustrating though to even start your own business, at least the questiom where wld u get ur own capital is foremost but we just must survive. we cannot keep on saying the same thing about Nigeria over and over again...nigeria is this...nigeria is that...we have heard the same complains decades ago and we will not stop hearing them. So i'll advise the house CREATE YOUR FUTURE. aND ABOVE ALL LETS PRAY FOR GOD TO HELP US.

I really wish the situation culd change.

   But as fresh graduates which am a colleague,we should imbibe the virtue of perseverance no matter the hurdles on the road.  it is still in this organisations which we say never give opportunities to fresh graduates dat most fresh gradutes(without god fathers) still get employed.  if others can be employed ,why cant we?

   Even if they require people witth years of experiece, theres no harm in trying. just apply.who knows , it may jst click. even if we continue to complain 4rm today too eternity,believe me the situation will not change because complaints never changes situations but actions

   pls let us not looose hope as these are the days of our little beginings.for sure the best is yet to come.
