VACANCY: Technical Support Officer

The Job
Manage all IT systems, including LAN, WAN, ERP and related systems including:
o Support, Monitor, test and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
o Perform and coordinate effetive installation and performance of advanced operating system, hardware and software on servers.
o Install new software release, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems.
o Support and maintain end user requirements, including troubleshooting, account maintenance and training.
o Plan and perform approriate procedures, documentation, inventory assessment and other procedures related to it.
o Maintain, montor, analyze system components and make recommendations regarding computer system security, monitor networks, computer and disk utilization.

Mandatory Skills :
• Experience in similar position in a reputable I.T firm organization.
• IT technical skills ( Network, Server operating systems and application, hard ware and software support)
• TCP/IP based network Implementation
• Knowledge of Wireless LAN deployment and management
• Knowledge of Information security Controls and Vulnerability management
• Knowledge of VSAT deployment and management
• High communication skills

Qualification
- HND/BSc in Computer,Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
- Possession of any of CCNA, MCP, MCTS, MCITP, CCNP, and MCSA is an added advantage.

The Person
Must be proactive and resourceful, skilled in problem solving and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Must be willing to work long hours.

Experience
At least one (1) year experience in assembling, repairing and servicing hardware in a network environment, Good knowledge of windows 2003, 2007, XP ,Vista , windows 7 and Windows Servers.
