The Accounting/Administration Officer is responsible for maintaining day to day financial, accounting, administrative and personnel services in order to meet the company requirements.
Requirement


  • A degree in any of the discipline of social science or humanity.
  • Must have completed NYSC.
  • Must have 5 years working experience in a similar capacity, preferably an IT firm.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite application.
  • Possess good interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Must be willing to travel given short notice.
  • Relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will

  • Manage the filing, storage and security of documents
  • Respond to inquiries
  • Manage the repair and maintenance of computer and office equipment
  • Issue permits and licenses
  • Supervise all operations of the company
  • Supervise customer services and responds to customer inquiry
  • Assist with preparation and advertising of contract documents
  • Administer staffs and contracts

Other duties include:

  • Keep/Maintain an updated record of all the company’s accounting/financial records.
  • Payroll Administration.
  • Personnel records.
  • Ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered into the computerized accounting system
  • Prepare income statement
  • Assist with preparation of the budget
  • Implement financial policies and procedures
  • Establish and maintain cash controls
  • Establish, maintain and reconcile the general ledger
  • Monitor cash reserves and investments
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements
  • Establish and maintain supplier accounts
  • Processes supplier invoices
  • Maintain the purchase order system
  • Ensure data is entered into the system
  • Issue cheques for all accounts due
