Job Objective
Wireless Product engineer required with knowledge of Wi-Fi 802.11/WiMax 802.15/3G as well as wireless core infrastructure and the design/deployment of campus and enterprise Wi-Fi mesh networks.
You will be responsible for Pre-Sales, after sales support and account management of various clients.
The Product Engineer will be required to architect and design campus and enterprise class wireless architectures and value added Servers specifically carrier class 802.11a/b/g/n.

Responsibilities
This is a broad and challenging role and specific responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Creating solution architectures for wireless services, Hotspot and Ubiquitous WLAN.
  • Business development and account management with focus on enterprise, hospitality and education sectors.
  • Monitoring standards, markets and vendor product strategies.
  • Defining wireless infrastructure architecture and solutions leading mobile and wireless service trials
    Traffic, Bandwidth Management and Network/RF Optimization to ensure a fast and an interference free network
  • Adequate network sizing ensuring the network design take coverage and capacity into full consideration.
  • As well as the technical experience listed above candidates will have strong communication and business development skills.
  • Ability to research and develop value added service over WLAN not limited to file sharing, VoWLAN, and browser based corporate Chat/Video Conferencing.
  • Any experience of Linux, working for another wireless company, mobile handset clients, network based mobile services, SIP, IMS architecture, or VOIP would be desirable but not a prerequisite.
    Experience of Wi-Fi vendors equipment not limited to, Aruba, Ubiquity, Meraki, Linksys is desirable




Qualifications & Experience.
§ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or other relevant discipline. Second class upper degree is an advantage.
§ Successful candidate will be result oriented, able to take lead and work without supervision.
§ Strong WLAN design experience. Wi-Fi/Wimax, candidates will have worked on medium to large deployments
§ Strong business development, communication and presentation skills using Microsoft applications
§ 1 year minimum relevant project experience in medium/large commercial WLAN deployment
§ Minimum of 1 year Project Management experience
§ Ability to work effectively in a team.
§ Work effectively to deadlines; even under pressure
§ Excellent listening skills
§ Ability to learn very fast and follow dynamics of the WLAN technologies.
§ Ability to transform requirement into a customer solutions.
