AutoCAD is a computer-aided drafting software application used in architecture, construction and manufacturing to assist in the preparation of blueprints and other engineering plans. Professionals who use AutoCAD are often referred to as drafters. While drafters work in a number of specialties, the six most common specialization areas are mechanical drafting, architectural drafting, civil drafting, electrical drafting, electronics drafting and aeronautical drafting.
AUTO-CAD is system based software for designing, drafting and mapping, its uses cut across various spectrum of human endeavour. AUTO-CAD helps designers and draft men to produce drawings of high precision and standards, AUTO-CAD helps to reduce the level of errors that manual drawings normally faces.
This training is in two phases, 2D and 3D AUTO-CAD.
2D COURSE OUTLINE

• Navigating between 2D and 3D

1. AUTOCAD MECHANICAL

• Design of flange, nut and bolt
• Machine design and drawing
• Interpret design implication, metric and imperial standard

1. AUTOCAD STRUCTURAL AND CIVIL

• 2D building drafting
• 2D building elevation
• 2D roof plan
• 2D Slab design
• 2D beam and column design

1. AUTOCAD PIPING

• (P&ID) piping and instrumentation diagram
• Process flow diagram/sheets
• Pipe drafting and design

3D COURSE OUTLINE

• Introduction to 3D Fundamentals- Basic tools, modelling tools, solid editing, views, visual style.
• Modelling of structures and platforms.
• Modelling of mechanical parts and components.
• Modelling of piping components and design of unit equipment’s.

TRAINING METHODOLOGY:
TOTAL DURATION- 4 WEEKS, 12 CLASSES, 3 HOURS PER CLASS.
