Job Description:


  • Process invoices and credit cards.
  • Monitor the progress and deliveries of all contracts for the Contract Administration Division Naval Hospital Guam.
  • Prepares/issues modifications of contracts for changes such as change of name of contractor, paying office or correct typographical errors. Distribution of contracts and modifications, maintenance of the official files, close out of purchase files.
  • Attends meetings designated by Department Head.
  • Analyzes the needs of the Resource Management Department and recommends most economical solutions.
  • Develops key milestones and schedules.
  • Develops programmatic cost estimates.
  • Assesses the programs performance and objectives.
  • Extracts and assembles data for files, reports, status and other procurement information.

Qualifications

  • High School graduate or Equivalent with courses in typing, filing, office methods and business English.
  • Background and knowledge in accounting principles.
  • Be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language fluently.
  • Be able to perform tasks from this independently.
  • Possess good communication skills both orally and written in able to communicate with all levels, executive to worker. There will be considerable interface with the managers, engineers, and clients.
  • Due to nature of data handled in execution of this all personnel are bound by a nondisclosure agreement specifying that release of sensitive information with or in performance of duties must have prior approval from the Government representative.
  • Possess a sound understanding of all MICROSOFT programs (Word, Excel, and Access), database management for monitoring. A qualified typist is required. Must keep current on the respective technologies associates.
  • Skill in operating computer terminals, scanners, copiers, printers, fax machines, and email in a work processing/data transcription mode. Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formats.
  • Knowledge in correspondence handling procedures.
  • Must possess a current valid state driver’s license.
  • Must provide written proof from a physician that the immunizations are up to date.
