Funny as d topic might sound but d truth can not be taken away from it!The fact dat some pple are using d NYSC scheme to enrich themselves should not be shyed away from.The immediate past director spent over ten yrs even while he was over due for promotion he refused to yield 'cos of what was coming in'.Bodies like d salvation army,redemption or d appostolic groups should be beckoned upon to help redirect d program.If this can not be done then the program should be scrapped.How can a nation be spending such a huge amount on a scheme and d expected dividends are not visible?Some of our parents who went to school before d advent of the program bought cars but now what do we have?We have youth who went thru hell in school only to come out with no definite direction one can not boast of a bicycle let alone a bike or car and those who are in charge smile to the bank after every program!!!I foresee a situation whereby these elders will one day push the youth to the wall and the rest can only be imagined.............It is high time christians take their stand and come into the day to day running of this nation if we are to avoid the total breakdown of our one nation,NIGERIA.

I stand to be corrected. It came to my notification that #700,000 is being allocated for all corps members for the period of the service. In which the kits is a worth of #70,000 and daily meals are estimated at the rate of #1200 for each day. Meaning per meal is 300. So what are we talking about. Nigeria factor has taken over all the sector. May God save our dear nation from all corruption. My suggestion is not for the programme to be scrapped but if the government can try to re-direct the programme in the sense that after the three weeks in the camp, let out of the allocated 700k 500k should be given to all corps members for self employments and entrepreneural business. So if you are employed good luck to jonathan and if you are not employed good luck to ur jonathan. We need to take our position in this nation. We are getting there in Jesus name.
