Reporting to the Accountant

Requirements:

Sex: Male

Skill: Must be computer literate and able to use computer software to manage inventory

Experience and Qualifications

? Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience
? Experience in a similar position is desirable
? A good University degree, its equivalent or OND in accounting or Business Administration.

DUTIES
1. Receiving of goods from:
? Purchasing Officer
? External Suppliers
? Internal suppliers
? Checking that supply matches LPO
? Checking that the quality of goods supplied is according to the company standard
? Application of sales price to shops supplies
? Application of cost price to raw materials
? Issuing of signed Goods Received Note. Duplicate to be given to the supplier while the original is used to update the bin card. The triplicate copy should be sent to Accounts Department.

2. STORAGE OF GOODS
? Maintenance of stock cards for all goods i. e Goods from production, Shop goods for sale and Raw materials with appropriate code.

3. ISSUING OF RAW MATERIALS
? Maintenance of materials movement register for Raw Materials
? Issuing of signed Internal Goods Transfer Note. Duplicate to be given to the Production while the original is used to update the Store Card. The triplicate copy should be sent to Accounts Department
? Issuing of Raw Materials to the Production after receiving of appropriate Material Requisition Note
? Ensuring safe/tidy keeping of all goods in the store
? Maintaining goods in easy to identify/retrievable state

4. ISSUING OF GOODS FOR SHOP
? Attending to requisitions received from procurements
? Disbursement of goods to Logistic/Procurement for onward delivery to shops
? Raising of Purchase Requisition Note for replenishment of stock when required
? Maintaining of stock cards for all goods stock for sales
? Weekly balancing of Stock card
? Proper filling of all relevant record
? Timely executing of all record keeping
? Quarterly Head Office, Shop physical stock taking with Accountant.
