Qualification(s): Must possess any of these engineering disciplines; Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Electronics, Geology, Petro-Physics, Chemistry and Physics from an accredited University and Polytechnic with a minimum of second class lower division (2.2) or upper Credit. Candidates must have completed NYSC requirements. No post NYSC work experience is required as full training will be given.

Experience Required: None.

Interested applicants will undergo a competitive test and the best candidate will be chosen and trained in accordance with the Company requirements

Responsibilities:

Under direct supervision, assists in delivery of processed logging data products and services on location or at the Advanced Formation Evaluation Center. Trains directly under a Principal or Senior Technical Professional to gain knowledge of log data processing and principles in preparation for formal school.

Responsibilities will include learning Field Professional's duties at the wellsite as well as processing software packages. This is the entry level position. Requires familiarization with field Surface Systems as well as AFE Centers hardware and software for open and cased hole services. Typical requirements include a degree in Engineering,Geology or Petro-physics. Certification as an Engineer-in-training is desirable.

Trains directly under a Principal or Senior Technical Professional - Maintenance L&P, to gain knowledge of logging equipment and tools, in preparation for formal Maintenance School training. Requires familiarization with Surface Systems and open and cased hole tools, PM I and Lab testing equipment. Expected to attend to several field jobs as part of his pre and post school training. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job

Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Physics, Geology or Mathematics. Certification as an Engineer-in-training is desirable.
