Executive Director- Sales/Marketing (Media Advertising B2B)
A new media firm with that is looking to penetrate Nigeria Media/Advertising Market. Looking to recruit for an Executive Director- Sales/Marketing (Media Advertising B2B) to be based in Lagos. The Executive Director will be working from home and be reporting to the Managing Director every other day during the week.
You will be an experienced media sale professional with a strong background in Field Media Sales & Advertising. You will be used to working and partnering with media buyers at all levels and selling online and offline media / advertising services. Experience from advertising / media is desirable and you need to be comfortable and passionate about new business development and account management.
As Executive Director- Sales/Marketing (Media Advertising B2B), this is a self starting job and you will have the responsibility to setup a small sales team and establishing, building and managing an aggressive sales force in the country.
This role requires engagement with senior level clients and agency decision- makers, and proven skills in identifying opportunities, creating and negotiating deals, and in driving large revenue deals. The right candidate will be both entrepreneurial and highly competitive and will represent the company at industry events and conferences and see himself/herself as stake holder in the business.
The Role/Job Description
· Setup a Sales team in Lagos and establishing, building and managing an aggressive sales force in Nigeria.
· Online and Field sales management of media services to major clients and SMEs.

· New business development (80%) and 20% account management.

The Person
· 3 - 5 years media sales experience is essential.

· Experience in media sales and advertising both online and field activities to sell our services to decision makers and board level executives, in both small and large organisations would be a distinct advantage.

· A proven track record in entrepreneurship, new business development (including target delivery) and an ability to demonstrate the commercial acumen to work and succeed in a fast growing environment.

· The successful candidate must be passionate in meeting new people and to acquire new business in both small and large organisations. This will be a requirement of this role.

· Be self confident and have client facing experience presenting solutions. Presentations often involve presenting at Director / Senior Management level.

· An ability to negotiate complex corporate accounts will be a distinct advantage.

· The successful candidate will show a hunger and determination to succeed and will have a keen understanding of the services and features of the business.
· This position is suitable for someone that is computer literate.
Remuneration is based on uncapped commission bonus + profit sharing + Weekend Holiday to any West Africa Countries (twice a year)
