    JOB LOCATION: LAGOS, NIGERIA.











    ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    The Account Executives’ key objectives are the delivery of new and repeat business revenues per target, maintenance of customer service levels and completion of duties and tasks per standard. Their main focus should be on obtaining new business.



    New Business Contribution
    • Will deliver new business per target.
    • Will identify and maintain prospect detail and opportunity.
    • Will manage the sales process and report progress per cycle.
    • Will assist with the preparation and execution of supporting Marketing programs and initiatives.
    • Will assist with the preparation of New Business Budgets
    Territory Management - Understanding the assigned territory and working with Solution Managers, Marketing and Business Partners to develop plans to create leads & opportunities..




    Developing and managing a realistic pipeline of opportunities in accordance with the Company and IBU strategy. & nbsp; • Ensure accurate customer & contact information is maintained in the company’s CRM databases.
    • Participation in lead generation events and processes.
    • Maintenance of a territory plan and associated call reports.
    Opportunity Management - Qualifying leads and assessing opportunities, applying engagement models and developing plans to execute a successful sales cycle. Then, leading the VAT in execution of the plan
    • Qualify and assess opportunities using CEL Discovery & Evaluation phase CSF’s as a guideline and Opportunity Management Plan as tool to document the process.• Assemble, brief and lead the Virtual Account team throughout the sales cycle.
    • Leverage the SSC to ensure delivery of appropriate outputs to the prospect.
    • Ensure the company pipeline (MKIS) accurately reflects status of each opportunity.
    • Identify needs and prove the company’s ability to deliver a value-adding solution by ensuring effective application of the company’s tools and methodologies during the sales cycle (e.g. Solution Maps, Business Case builder et al).
    • Ensure competitor information is gathered and disseminated to company. & nbsp; Account Management - Maximizing customer lifetime value by maintaining the account’s health in such a way as to ensure customer satisfaction and an ongoing stream of opportunities with a view to maximizing the company’s share-of-wallet. Position the company as a trusted advisor to the customer. • Ensure the company pipeline (MKIS) accurately reflects status of each opportunity.

    Ongoing management of the account as per an agreed Account Plan to include:
    1. Call frequency as determined by strategic nature of customer.
    2. Liaison with and leadership of, where applicable, Solution Managers, CSCs and Support personnel as part of the VAT. & nbsp; Administration & nbsp; • Plans, prioritizes and organizes all sales related administrative activities/reports to ensure timely and effective execution.
    • Completes all required administrative functions while adhering to company policies and procedures.
    • Provides prompt, efficient handling of a customer/account query or problem & nbsp;

    QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
    • Must have Matric preferably with a tertiary qualification in sales, marketing , Social sciences or business discipline plus 3 years’ or more experience depending on the nature of previous experience.
    • Must have software sales experience and have worked with mainstream business software.
    • Must actively and effectively participate in the sales process.
    • Must be a team player.
    • Knowledge of the company sales methodologies, key account management methods and the company organization, mission, policies, objectives and strategies.
    • Must have a strategic understanding of business.
    • Must take responsibility and accountability for the sales process, which would include proactive and comprehensive account and sales planning, pipeline management and the maintenance of customer master information.
    • Will be required to travel both nationally and internationally.
    • Must have strong communication skills.
    • Must have good reasoning ability.
