Job Position: Field Officer (RFL)
Job Description:
- actively contributes to the implementation of ICRC activities in the domain of its reestablishment
- contributes to the assessment of the needs in this domain
- offers help and services to people who have lost track with family, in cooperation with the Nigerian red cross
- ensures effective filling, efficient records keeping, timely reporting and is ready to provide detailed and accurate statistics
- contributes to ensure the flow of information in the department and with neighbouring delegations
- maintains regular contacts with various interlocutors in his area of responsibility, such as NRCS, NGOs, population etc
- ensures implementation of priorities and working procedures as set by the delegation
- provides his knowledge of the environment
Qualification:
- High school or professional school
- good communication skills both written and verbal in english, hausa, kanuri french will be an added advantage
- good reporting and analytical skills
- ability to work independently and capacity to take initiatives when appropriate
- team work oriented
- punctual reliable and good organisational skills
- sound empathy when dealing with people/beneficiaries
- adaptability and capacity to integrate changes
