Consultants with verifiable procurement experience with donor agencies (DFID/USAID/The Bank/SIDA etc) needed for an International NGO. Responsibilities shall include:

Managing the procurement of goods, services and works for employer using appropriate sourcing tools and techniques in order to achieve value for money; Managing the entire tender process from the development of tender specifications, production of bidding documents, ITT, opening of bids, development of evaluation criteria and support to the technical evaluation teams; Leading contract negotiations with suppliers; Developing and leading the implementation of procurement policy; Producing and managing contract agreements; Evaluating supplier performance and advising management accordingly; Producing and implementing a detailed Procurement Plan for the organization; Administering the day-to-day functioning of the Procurement Department; Producing monthly and quarterly procurement reports for management; Leading in the disposal of scrap assets.
