An excellent opportunity has opened up at Sundry Foods Limited for an experienced Business development Manager in Lagos

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, executing and managing new business relationships with mostly corporate, public sector and high networth individuals with an aim to meeting and exceeding revenue and profit objectives of the company’s Events and Industrial catering unit while supporting the general marketing efforts of the company in general.

Qualifications/Skills:
? Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business Administration or any Social Sciences with a minimum of a second class lower qualification from a reputable university. An MBA qualification will be an added advantage.

Experience required:
At least three (3) years relevant post degree work experience in marketing or business development is desirable. A combination of practical experience in the catering, banking, insurance or telecommunications sectors will be an advantage.

Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for brand building and profitability. Monitor and evaluate compliance with brand management policies
• Responsible for originating and developing new business opportunities in Lagos area
• Research to identify clients, sector opportunities, and competition for the ‘SFS’ brand i.e. the company’s catering unit.
• Manage relationships with key corporate accounts and ensure prompt payments.
1. Create and submit invoices.
2. Monitor invoice processing to payment.
3. Achieve and maintain a maximum of 30 days debt age on all key corporate accounts.
• Managing customer relationships and develop a loyal client base of customers for our customized marketing and marketing research programs designed, in turn, to increase the clients' sales and profitability.
• Monitor competitor activity, providing market analysis information pertaining to competitors’ trends and activities and implement strategies that align with overall business plan.
• Achieve pre-agreed sales targets as assigned by Management.
• Assist in the preparation of Catering bids, proposals and tenders
