Job Responsibilities:
•Conduct general financial analysis of the finance reports obtained from various departments such as, sales, marketing, purchase, production, communication, etc.
•Performing industry competitive analysis.
•Engage in pricing and cost decisions.
•Prepare reports pertaining to their research, study and suggestions over investments.
•Making use of spreadsheets and different statistical software in order to analyze the facts of their report.
•Driving financial planning processes and capital budget decisions
•Develop new and effective techniques for financial planning and thus rendering better service to the clients.
•Reading financial statements of the organization and also taking into consideration, the sales, expenses and production cost, in order to advise for investments and forecast future earnings of the organization.
•Keeping tabs of the latest trends and techniques in the field of financial analysis.
•Handling audits and work for client information support service.

Comprehending and influencing the impacts of technology decisions

•Provide functional business support to all departments in the organization e.g. R&D and Marketing etc.
•Extracting and integrating data from multiple databases/system sources to support status reporting and analytical efforts related to manpower management, payroll and execution planning and tracking.

•Developing and manipulating spreadsheets, databases and data analytical tools.
•Developing data analysis and status reports as required to meet customer and management need.

Job specification of Financial Analyst includes:

•Bachelor's degree in related discipline or its equivalent experience is required. Master's degree in Finance/Accounting or other advanced degree in related discipline would be of an added advantage.
•3-5 years of corporate finance experience.
•A minimum of four years of experience performing complex financial modelling and analysis, and demonstrated proficiency in database management and spreadsheet applications.
•Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques as well as proficiency with financial statement analysis and projection.
•Knowledge of overall business strategy and operations including business processes, revenue and cost components and drivers of these measures, customer behaviour, profitability and return on investment modelling and general economic modelling.
•Experience and demonstrated capability of serving as effective financial business partner in customer oriented environment dealing with wide range of business areas including marketing and promotion, pricing, distribution, compensation, customer loyalty and customer care.
•Strong attention to detail and strong analytical skill required.
•Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•Ability to adapt easily to change.
•Background in Telecommunications industry would be an added advantage.
•Knowledge of cost and financial accounting principles, practices and procedures.
•Knowledge of principles and techniques used in conducting management studies, system analyses and financial analyses.
•Knowledge of internal control systems and procedures.
•Skill in performing complex numerical calculations.
•Skill in preparing complex management reports on a timely basis.
•Skill in the use of personal computers and related financial and statistical software products.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisition's or Investment Banking experience.
•Strong personal computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Project, and PowerPoint) and Visio.
