Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for:

1) Procurement Officer (male or female)
The candidate will report directly to the Procurement Manager as well as assist him in the re-organization of the procurement office.

Qualification:
B. Sc or HND in Purchasing and Supply or related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years working experience in building and construction sector.
- Experience in complex works, services and supplies covering a range of commodities.
- Experience in establishing contracts/specifications with excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability in applying these to day-to-day procurement activities and documentation.
- Experience in preparing, reviewing and agreeing technical terms & conditions.
- Experience in contract /purchase order management.
- Ability to locate suppliers, using sources such as catalogs and the internet and, if needed, interview them to gather information about products to be ordered.
- Knowledge of SAP will be considered as a plus.
- Candidates with vast knowledge of procurement and store processes/procedures in the construction industry will be added advantage.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must.
- Previous working experience in a foreign company will be considered as a plus.
- Good communication and negotiation skills are essential for this role.
