URC is seeking qualified candidates to lead a major potential project involving a comprehensive program to increase the quality, access to, and the use of malaria interventions in Nigeria. The position is based in Nigeria and is expected to be a five-year assignment.

The Deputy Chief of Party / Financial/Grants Manager position requirements are:

- Minimum of 8 years experience working donor-funded projects in developing countries in Africa, experience in Nigeria preferred, with a minimum of 4-6 years on USAID contracts
- Strong project financial management skills including experience designing, awarding and overseeing sub-grants to local NGOs
- Experience with malaria public health projects a plus
- Experience supporting the development of work plans, financial and project reports, etc.
- Experience managing human resources and building staff capacity, including retention, job descriptions, budget tracking, ensuring financial consistency within deliverables, and close relationships with HQ
