Business Development/Office Manager (FUNERAL HOMES)
Our client is a major player in the provision of funeral services in Lagos Nigeria looking to hire a Business Development/Office Manager. The ideal individual must have an in-depth knowledge of the management of a funeral home, although some training will be provided both locally and internationally. His / Her role will include the effective management of employee and clientele relationships, ensuring that work ethics and standards are maintained at all levels of the organisation. The individual will have day to day management responsibility for all Morgue and Administrative Employees and shall report directly to the board of directors. A graduate of Anatomy, Marketing, Business Management or a medical institution would be preferred. The individual must be self motivated and possess the ability to infuse passion into his/her role, (particularly as it involves dealing with bereaved families, articulating various options for a befitting burial of the departed). The individual must possess the ability to remain professional whilst dealing with situations arising from their interactions with grieving families. The individual must be willing to make Local, National and International trips on behalf of the company.
Job Description:
• Managing Morgue and Administrative Employees
• Managing Clientele Relationships
• Responsible for the Sale of FFHL's Goods and Services (including caskets)
• Arranging Funerals
• Dealing with enquiries from Government Organisations, Institutions and the general public
• Compiling statistical data and monthly reports for management information purposes
• Carrying out ad-hoc tasks as authorised by the board of directors
• Maintaining discipline and ensuring the best utilisation of FFHL'S resources
• Promoting the FFHL brand
