i dont really know why govt should be sending their wrath on polytechnic graduates, when their counterparts elsewhere are improving the sector.

I wish to tell all of you that HND and BSC graduate in Nigeria today are still the same.
So,do not think that they are scrapping HND,but they are tyrying to restructure the whole processes.
They said if you have OND you can then pursue your BSC or otherwise.
Now there are a lots of improvements in the polity as regards HND.
Soonest the senate will pass the bill for the equivalent of HND and BSC graduate in the labour market.
So,wait ands see what will the government is doing.Although,i have HND too,but i don't see myself being discriminated about. In anywhere i contend with BSC graduate,i always beat them.Because i know my job very well.

hello,
plz allow me to say something about this topic, nobody can hurt you without your concent.wether university or polythenic it doesnt limit or boast your success.most employers now are interested in what you can do and not the degree you have.
i know school cert guy working with first inland bank(flash me cash)and the company dont joke with him not because he knows one oga but because they know the guy's worth.
so dont be downcasted, dont always look @ your problem but the opportunity that comes with it.

Forget d talk about BSc better than HND. It's all bullshit! It' a mentality problem. Put me up with a BSc holder anytime, anyday I'll do better. Me i no bother o! We don't have direction in this country. That's the truth!

Re: What will happen to HND Certificates?

No problem my people, if the govt scraps HND Programme, i believe they will upgrade all HND certificates in already in existance to Bsc, oh sorry, B.Tech.

Thats the only reasonable thing they can do otherwise, the discrimination will be at its peak cos nobody carrying HND certificate will be called up for interview any longer.

Wahala!
