Topic: Pls help me out, am in a good problem i got 2 offers

Ol boy, I find it difficult in giving any advice. The reason is that i do not what you wish to be in the next 6-10 years. If you wish to spend your future in the armed forces, then go for the Navy direct commission where i know very well promotion is slow. If you wish to have an executive career(white collar job), go for the bank job as a stepping stone.

One thing is certain though, while its easy to change jobs in the corporate world, its not that easy in the armed forces.

The choice is now yours.

Boy at least thank God you got them both. I would like to know what u studied and what inspired u to go for navy short service.As u may know, those who enter thru short service suffer from slow promotion hence the overall position hardly comes to them before they retire. on the other hand, banking is dynamic, better chances of growth and u can switch banks easily after a year but it also comes with it's share of toil and hard work esp if you're in marketing.

It's really and truly difficult to advise u on this particular issue. But in line with what everybody else has said..I think it's really about what u are supposed to be doing...what u know u need to do to give ur life meaning ..career wise. No one can choose for u...people can only advise. Ultimately u have to decide for urself.....ask yourself what would really give u fulfillment in life.........
